Florida Turf Directory

Each issue of Florida Turf Digest magazine contains information on the various segments of the turf industry with the goal of the editorial material written to aid the turfgrass professional in their industry. The magazine regularly covers the following segments: Golf, Commercial Lawn & Landscape Care, Sports Turf, Sod Production, Installation, Seeding & Sprigging, Parks & Rec, Commercial Campuses, Roadside, etc.

The Florida Turf Digest will accept copy from members, advertisers and others that support the FTGA per the editorial guidelines below. All submissions should be made to editor@ftga.org.

Feature Article Guidelines should provide good generic information to the turf industry. In general, the feature article should support the editorial focus of the issue in question. Product mentions must be kept to a minimum, although product round-ups that mention all products in a category will be accepted. Comparisons that speak negatively about competitive products will not be allowed. Author and affiliation of author (i.e. company) will be given credit as a byline.

News Item Guidelines such as personnel changes and promotions, new products, significant product promotions, and noteworthy happenings at the organization (e.g. new facilities, golf course renovations, new personnel) will be included in the industry wrap-up section called, Marketplace. Inclusion in Marketplace will depend on the significance and importance of the news item to the turf industry. Comparisons that speak negatively about competitive products will not be allowed.
